How does AIDungeon work?
AIDungeon uses a form of artificial intelligence called a neural network to mathematically analyze the text you enter, and then generate text that is likely to follow.
Basically, the AI reads the last part of your story and tries to guess the next possible set of words, generating the story and the results of your actions as you play in endless virtual worlds.
Why do I need an account to play?
AIDungeon is hosted in the cloud to allow you to play on any web browser or mobile device of your choice.
By having an activated account on AIDungeon, we can give you a complete experience.
We also store your adventures in the cloud so you can access and play through your account, even if you switch between devices.
Can I play AIDungeon on my phone?
Yes you can!
You can play AIDungeon on your phone or other mobile devices by downloading our app on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
You can also play on our website through your phone's browser, just like you would on a desktop computer.
Can I play for free?
Yes, AIDungeon is a free game, no matter what device you play it on.
Your free account grants you access to all basic AIDungeon features.
We also offer a free version of AIDungeon on Steam, which gives you unlimited access to Griffin.
Can I search for content on AIDungeon?
Yes, you can search for settings, worlds or adventures in AIDungeon.
Just go to the left sidebar and click the “Search” button.
Simply type in a keyword or two and hit enter to see what's available.
You can also click on one of the tags in an existing piece of content to see more things with that tag.
What is the difference between published and unpublished scenarios?
Posted scenarios are public and available for anyone online to view, read, or play.
Unpublished content is private, meaning it is only available to the user who wrote it to edit, view, and play.
These are encrypted on the server and cannot be viewed by Latitude staff.
The AI is designed to detect any content that may go against our community guidelines, regardless of whether the adventure is published or not.
If you activate the filter, the AI will prevent you from proceeding with your original entry.

Users can use tools like "Undo", "Redo", "Retry" and "Edit" to control the action and customize their adventure.
Adventures are automatically saved and can be shared with other users.
The app is free and available on both the web and mobile devices.

AIDungeon role-playing game in detail
AIDungeon is a role-playing experience and interactive storytelling tool, guided by artificial intelligence.
You can choose or create a character, world, and story, and then the AI will fill in the details of your unique adventure.
You can decide what your character does or says, and the AI will advance the story and shape the characters and events in the world you can interact with.
You can also write your own text to advance the plot however you want. The tool gives you the ability to control the action with functions like Undo, Redo, Retry and Edit.
Plus, anything is possible, as you can type any action you can think of and the AI will try to generate a story from your input.
Adventures are automatically saved and you can return to them at any time by visiting them in "My Stuff".
However, as AI is a difficult field, you may encounter some bugs or issues, but they are always working on improvements to make the experience even better.
There is also a community on Discord available to help you and share your creations.
